Last January 15th and 16th, we gave Indian candidates the opportunity to experience a real finance masterclass with one of our professors, Pablo Soler Bach. We gave three separate classes, one in Mumbai at the Taj Mahal Tower and two in Delhi at the Indian Institute of Technology and at the Taj Mahal Hotel. We are extremely proud of the response we received from the Indian candidates because all the events were full of amazing candidates who wanted to know more about the future trends of finance and about our worldwide leading institution. In addition to that, one of our Associate Directors of Admissions had some information sessions with many candidates with great profiles and experience in finance and who want to further develop their career.

The masterclasses imparted by Pablo Soler were focused on how new technologies, such as Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, cybersecurity, cloud, mobile networks or even IoT (Internet of Things), and how new and often revolutionary business models are appearing in finance, an industry that is mostly data driven based and currently has lower than ever barriers to entry. According to Professor Soler, billions of Venture Capital and Private Equity dollars are being poured into startups worldwide, creating tens of thousands of new jobs, while incumbents downsize or try to develop new capabilities through acquisitions or alliances, or by developing and supporting accelerators and incubators, in a thriving, rich and complex business ecosystem.
It was extremely remarkable how the market conditions and financial and economic systems in India, China and other Asian countries, are making the opportunities for disruption and new business models in finance even greater.
In accordance with these masterclasses and taking advantage of this article, we want share with you the evolution of our Master in Finance and Master in Advanced Finance programs.
