Change: the most intelligent answer for an ever changing environment
IE Business School is characterized by three essential values: Diversity, represented in each and every student, who come from different countries around the world and find at IE a very attractive and prestigious educational offer. An entrepreneurial spirit, which has motivated us to develop and implement better ideas and innovations in the educational sector. Innovation is our DNA, reflected by the change and continuous improvement of our educational offer, and we are honored by our recognition as The Financial Times’ No.1 Business School in Europe (2012) and No.2 worldwide for the Master in Finance (2011& 2012).
Today we would like to share with you the evolution of our Executive Master in Finance Bi-weekly and Global Master in Finance programs.
The Executive Master in Finance Bi-weekly is a part-time program at our Madrid Campus, aimed at executive professionals living in Spain or nearby countries; the Global Master in Finance is a globally distributed class of professionals with a range of work experience, delivered in IE’s renowned blended format (part face-to-face, part online), affording maximum flexibility as students build their study around their jobs and form part of a class of students from around the world.
The new Global Master in Finance will be the combination of both programs. This program is aimed at executive professionals with a minimum of 5 years work experience who typically, but not exclusively, work in the world of finance. Participants seek in-depth and practical knowledge on financial markets, banking and corporate finance, with the ability to share and debate with classmates in different countries, regions and markets. The program will remain in its blended format, with three residential periods in Madrid-London-Madrid. IE’s blended methodology allows participants to interact with classmates and professors from any part of the world, without interrupting their professional lives. Additionally, the program structure of the new Global Master in Finance will be adjusted to better fit the working experience and needs of executive professionals.
This change means that that the next intake of the Executive Master in Finance Biweekly that is meant to begin in February 2013, will be merged with the Global Master in Finance, and, thus, will commence in October 2013.
We are confident that these changes will give greater value to our students´ future professional careers, and we will be very happy to discuss this new program with you at your convenience!
Kind regards,
