Last week we celebrated the Opening Ceremony of the Master in Finance 2013 at Aula Magna Hall on IE Campus. This year, we welcome 70 excellent students from 34 different nationalities who speak an average of 3 languages, 94% of the class comes from outside Spain.

The 2013 class witnessed a growth in the number of students from LATAM, Asia Pacific and especially Europe. The geographical distribution is as the following: Europe 51%, Asia Pacific 29%, LATAM 9%, North America 7%, Middle East 5% and Africa 2%.

Some other interesting facts about the class: average age 23, with 1 year full time working experience, 15% women. 50% of the class holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration/Management/Commerce, 21% studied Economics, 12% Finance, 10% Engineering, and 7% did other studies such as Neuroscience and Philosophy. The highest GMAT score of the class is 770pts and 17% students presented CFA certificates. The countries presented in the class are: Argentina, Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Belize, Bulgaria, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, France, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Lebanon, Montenegro, Morocco, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia , Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, UK, Ukraine, US, Venezuela.
